    • Orbital floor fractures
    • Le Fort I, II, III fractures
    • Nasal fractures
    • NOE (naso-orbital-ethmoid) fractures

    Panfacial Trauma

    • Multiple facial bone fractures
    • Complex reconstruction required
    • Staged or single-surgery approach

    Advanced Surgical Planning for Trauma

    Emergency Cases

    • Immediate surgical planning
    • Same-day surgery when indicated

    Complex or Delayed Reconstruction

    • Virtual surgical planning (VSP)
    • Custom 3D-printed guides and plates
    • Mirror imaging for symmetry restoration
    • Pre-operative surgical rehearsal

    Surgical Approaches

    Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF)

Standard approach for displaced fractures using titanium plates and screws. Hidden incisions are used when possible to provide rigid fixation for healing.

    Closed Reduction

For certain non-displaced fractures. Uses arch bars and elastics or maxillomandibular fixation (MMF) as a minimally invasive approach.

    Reconstruction with Grafting

    • Bone grafts for severe defects
    • Titanium mesh reconstruction
    • Custom 3D-printed implants
    • Restores anatomy and function

    Custom Plating Systems

For complex fractures, Dr. Krajekian utilizes:

    • VSP-designed plates custom contoured to patient anatomy
    • 3D-printed titanium for exact fit and reduced surgical time
    • Pre-bent plates manufactured to match reconstruction
    • Patient-specific implants for major bone loss

    Secondary Reconstruction

For patients with mal-united or non-united fractures, healed trauma, or prior inadequate treatment:

    • 3D analysis of current deformity
    • Virtual planning of corrective osteotomies
    • Custom surgical guides
    • Restoration of proper anatomy

    Post-Operative Care

    First 24–72 Hours

    • Ice packs to face 20 min on/off

    • Pain and anti-inflammatory medications as prescribed

    Mandible (Lower Jaw) Fractures

    • Strict soft diet for 6 weeks
    • May have wires or rubber bands (MMF) for 2–6 weeks
    • Oral hygiene is critical. Rinse after every meal
    • Jaw exercises after MMF removed

    Orbital and Cheekbone Fractures
